Welcome to The Candle Pour! We’re excited to have you explore the world of custom scent creation with us. Below are answers to our most commonly asked questions to help you plan your visit.


OUR EXPERIENCE

DO I NEED A RESERVATION?

Reservations are recommended but not required. Walk-ins are welcome and accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

HOW LONG IS THE EXPERIENCE?

The full scent-blending experience takes 30–45 minutes. Candles require 2 hours to set after pouring.


PLEASE NOTE: 

  • Same-day pickup is not available for candles poured in the final two time slots of the day
  • Candles may be picked up the next business day or within one week
  • Flameless products (like diffusers and fragrance oils) are typically ready to take home immediately; wax melts may require a brief setting period

CAN I USE A GIFT CARD TO BOOK A RESERVATION?

Because reservation fees are refundable, gift cards cannot be used to reserve a spot but may be redeemed in-store for your purchase.


Note: During peak seasons and holidays (e.g., Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day), sitting fees may be non-refundable.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund of your reservation fee.

HOW DO I BOOK FOR A LARGE GROUP?

Groups of 13+ should contact our Events Team to explore private or semi-private options.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Pricing depends on the product you choose to make. Every price includes the scent-blending experience and your custom product:

  • Hyde Park & St. Petersburg: Candles $38–$68 | Flameless products from $20
  • Oxford Exchange: Candles $48–$68 | Flameless products from $20

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

Yes, we welcome guests of all ages! We kindly ask for one-on-one adult supervision for children aged 8 and under to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

CAN I BRING MY OWN DRINKS?

Yes! Guests 21+ may bring beer, wine, or champagne (no liquor or mixers) with a valid ID. Our team will begin serving once you’ve completed scent selection at the Scent Wall.


PLEASE NOTE:

  • valid ID is required to consume alcohol on-site.
  • Alcohol may only be consumed within our space
  • All drinks must be finished within 45 minutes after the hour
  • Guests arriving late may be asked not to consume alcohol to avoid disrupting scheduled experiences

CAN I BRING FOOD?

No. Outside food is not permitted at any time.

POST EXPERIENCE

DO YOU OFFER RETAIL PRODUCTS WITHOUT PARTICIPATING IN THE EXPERIENCE?

Yes! You're always welcome to browse and purchase from our ready-to-take-home products — including candles, room sprays, soaps, reed diffusers, and more — without booking a scent-blending experience. Perfect for gifts or restocking a favorite scent.

WHEN WILL MY PRODUCT BE READY FOR PICKUP?

Candles take approximately 2 hours to set after pouring. If you're visiting during the final two reservation hours of the day, same-day pickup may not be available. Flameless products (like room sprays, fragrance oils, and diffusers) are typically ready to take home immediately.

WHAT IF I'M NOT ABLE TO PICK UP MY PRODUCT THE SAME DAY?

We’ll hold your items for up to 7 days after your visit. Due to limited storage space, we kindly ask that all products be picked up within that timeframe.

If your plans change or you live out of town, shipping is available — just contact us and we’ll be happy to coordinate getting your products to you.

CAN MY PRODUCTS BE PICKED UP AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION?

No — all products must be picked up from the location where they were made.  To avoid mix-ups or damage, we do not transfer items between stores. 

HOW CAN I REORDER MY CUSTOM SCENT?

You can reorder your custom blend through our Online Experience and you will be able to select the scents you used. If you are unsure of your blend, email our Customer Service Team and we can assist.

DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING?

Yes! We ship to the lower 48 states.

  • $15 for the first 2 product
  • $5 per each additional item

CAN I SHIP TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES?

Yes! Each shipping address will incur its own base fee.

DO YOU OFFER OFF-SITE POURING EXPERIENCES?

WHAT ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE OF?

All of our products are made with premium ingredients to ensure a high-quality, long-lasting scent experience. Here’s a breakdown of what we use across our product lines:

  • Candles: Hand-poured using a soy-based wax blend and cotton-paper wicks for a cleaner, longer burn and exceptional scent throw.
  • Fragrance Oils: Our premium fragrance oils are custom-formulated for a rich, complex aroma.
  • Wax Melts: Made with the same soy-based wax as our candles, formulated to melt cleanly and release strong fragrance in any wax warmer.
  • Reed Diffusers: Alcohol-free bases paired with our premium fragrance oils for a steady, flameless scent release.
  • Room Sprays & Soaps: Our signature scents are also available room sprays and hand soaps — created specifically to maintain fragrance integrity and performance in these formats.
  • Vessels: We source modern, high-quality vessels that are both functional and stylish — tested for safe burning and great presentation.

Our focus is always on clean-burning, responsibly sourced materials that elevate your scent experience — whether you’re lighting a candle or using a flameless product.

CAN I BRING MY OWN CANDLE CONTAINER?

No. We only pour into vessels tested with our wax and wicks to ensure safe and high-quality burning.

CAN I REFILL A VESSEL PURCHASED FROM THE CANDLE POUR?

Candle vessels can be repurposed, but not reused for safety purposes. You can order your creation on our website for local pick up or shipping Order Online.

GIFT CARDS

DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?

Yes! Both physical Gift Cards may be purchased at any location and digital Gift Cards may be purchased onlinePlease note, our gift cards for online experience cannot be redeemed.

In-Store Gift Cards cannot be used for online purchases.
